This update adds a new character, with the aim of making the orphanage itself more interesting and adding another way to manage trauma.
Edit: Released 0.1.11.1 which fixes some bugs. Notes at bottom of post.
Patch notes
Most clothes will become transparent when wet. Be careful near water or when spending time in the rain.
Added a one-off event to the school that can occur from the second week onwards.
Added another resident to the orphanage. They're innocent and naive, and may need protecting.
They can accompany you to and from school. There's safety in numbers.
Spending time with them can lower stress and trauma.
Added a fairly late game one-off event that involves the new character.
Balance Changes
Made one of the Whitney events more impactful.
Rebalanced Eden's emotions. They should be more lustful.
Studying in the library no longer increases stress.
Greatly lowered the maximum amount of pain that could be accrued. The amount of pain needed to disable the main character is unchanged.
Lowered the effect of beauty on your allure and attractiveness. Still much higher than it was in 0.1.9 and earlier.
Rebalanced the allure bar.
Increased the impact of trauma gains and losses outside of encounters.

Tank tops will no longer be pulled down your body.
Fixed a bug confusing the gender of rapists at the beach party, and bullies at school.
Fixed a bug causing a tentacle event at the school from triggering even with tentacles disabled.
Fixed a bug causing phantom arms to appear during tentacle encounters.
Fixed the wrong flashback text appearing at school and underground.
Untangling yourself without removing clothes will now increase stress as indicated.
Studying in the library at midnight should no longer have a chance to trigger events as if school was in session.

It seems weird that your character is the only one that can orgasm multiple times. Maybe not all npcs should get this because it'll make repelling assaults a little too challenging, but you could apply to certain unique/named characters.

There isn't a wiki or guide yet. To get the angel trait, you need to have the virgin trait and end each day with "angelic" purity. Every day you end with lower purity slows the process down.

Load your save in the old version, then go to the save menu and click the "Save to Disk" button. This will let you save your game as a file anywhere you want on your computer. Next, open up the game in the new version, go to the save menu and click the "Load from Disk" button. This will let you load the save file you just created.

Aside from the already known insane stretching from NPCs, one thing that particularly annoys me is them being able to perform multiple "lock" actions. They can be pinning both your arms, covering your mouth, and hurting you all at the same time, essentially make it nearly impossible to really react.

DeleteThe gifs were made mostly by me. They take a long time to do, hence the lack of variety. Others have kindly contributed art to the game, but they have to work around the limitations of how I've set things up.
The story will be developed further going forward. That said, it's an erotic game at its core. I'd love the game to be more than a "jerking simulator" (it already is to me) but I don't want to detract from the erotic aspects to do so.
As Squark said, fatigue can be removed by sleeping. Unless I've misunderstood you?
There's no easy way to change NPC gender right now. They're set when you first meet them, changing only if you choose the "attract only men" or "attract only women" options in settings. A way to choose the gender of specific npcs planned.

It's 0.11.1. Story is pretty bare bones because of that. Not many indie developers come up with a story BEFORE they have the mechanics to support it in place. As far as I know, Innocent City has long been cancelled and that's a damn shame. Don't compare a failed project to one that's still going, if you would.
Fatigue? Sleep it off. Stress degrades on its own. A few things can help decrease Trauma: Watching your friend play or playing WITH Robin, walking to school with said friend, walking back home with Robin, cuddling with Eden (effect is minimal) and a couple other things I can't remember right now.
Pain decreases over time, quickly too. Arousal can be managed rather easily.
If I've missed the ball completely, please explain what you mean by "Fatigue". Though I think the best course of action is to Sleep it off.
As far as I know, Robin's ALWAYS a girl. Or maybe it matches your character's gender.
Innocent city, the project was closed, but after I cried into the developer's shoulders, he released the full version, under the glyph "demo," and the story came out seamless. It removed the RPG element and the author concentrated entirely on the plot.

Been a fan of yours for a while now and forced myself away from playing your latest patches to now experience them all at once, and so far it's been amazing. Sex toys would also be a cool little money sink in either the supermarket (for basic toys) or in the forest shop (for more extreme/kinky toys). Toys such as anal beads/plugs could also be worn while you do daily activites such as going to school and to trigger certain events to happen when worn.

ReplyDeleteThere are three requirements. They need to like you enough, which you've probably accomplished. You also need to indicate that you're interested in them in a lewd way. Stroking their hair a bunch while watching them play is the easiest way.
DeleteFinally, they need to have survived the ordeal that happens 9+ weeks in, and recovered from the trauma it caused.
It's also possible it's bugged, but I think it's more likely I need to make things less opaque.

DeleteTo add to the discussion about balance when NPCs have you in a lock, it seems like having your mouth covered blocks a huge portion of your options during combat. Plus, the new transformation, defiance/submission, and English skills all rely on being able to use your mouth to confer their benefits. If you're worried about that making the player too helpless, it seems like there are two main routes to consider: either make it so that having your mouth covered is a very rare thing that only happens when you've taken a big risk, or else allow the player to try to talk even with a covered mouth (albeit at reduced effectiveness due to being muffled).

Having your mouth gagged is indeed a major impairment. I'm considering adding the option of trying to break free, but having it reduce effectiveness rather than disabling outright might work.

During the sexual encounters with women, I noticed that the game seems to not register orgasms while having intercourse with them for the majority of the time. It seems that the game is prioritizing other actions (like if they were kissing you or playing with your nipples) and will only count the orgasms like if you were just ejaculating outside, even when the graphics show that you ejaculated into their womb. The only times I see that the text showed that you actually ejaculated deep into their womb is when the cause of orgasm was strictly caused only by a single action related to the vagina. If they were doing ANY other action to you, the count towards ejaculated in others will not go up.

Performing or having lower purity slows the transformation (like masturbating), so the exact time of when the transformation complete seems to vary. Having maxed fatigue seems to increase stress from what i've seen. As for penis size, no, from what i've seen, penis size does not seem to have different sizes.

Purity goes down when you've got loads of sex. More so when you do with non-human NPCs. Promiscuity and Exhibitionism goes up when you do higher and higher tiered actions. For example, you need to do Exhibitionist actions of Tier 2 or higher. A simple rule of thumb is that if an Action doesn't SOOTHE and is TOO TAME, then it won't increase your rank. Therefor you must find something else to help increase your lewdity.

ReplyDeleteMake a scale showing the hardness of the body, which must be filled in order to self-educate yourself. For, every time to go to bed and sleep, to check whether you fulfilled the load or not - uncomfortable. Because the values are not always the same, you can swim 3 times at school, and then 3 more jogging along the beach and not pumping the body. And it is possible, thanks to the lessons at school, to make the body better immediately.

You need to play at least 9 weeks for all the Robin stuff (I might lower that time requirement) and the full angel transformation takes at least 50 days, but otherwise you can potentially see everything much sooner, I think.

DeleteIt doesn't seem to make any difference if your character is wearing shoes or running around barefoot, any plans on changing that? Not really expecting any mechanics centered around it but some form of acknowledgement would be nice, even if it's just minor dialogue/text changes.

ReplyDeleteA tail is the last thing you get, and the wolf transformation slowly decays. You need one dose per day to maintain it. Future updates will make that easier to do.

The removal going wrong is just a random occurrence.
DeleteBeing forcibly whored out like that only happens once, but you should now be able to visit the brothel if you couldn't before, and get work there.

And maybe choosing whether or not we were taught our nudity was shameful~ (The ability to start with the ability to expose oneself without requiring the exhibition stat, inquires no arousal, maybe?)

I'd like to include cheats at some point. There are no plans to include a cut protagonist or starting comfortable with nudity, though that's an interesting idea. Watersports might appear in a minor way.

It's currently very difficult to lower trauma without doing sexual stuff. Improving your performance at school helps though.
