This update was supposed to focus on bug fixes. It does, but there's a mixture of fun stuff in too. Thanks everyone for the feedback and bug reports.
Edit: Released 0.1.10.1 which hopefully fixes issues with images failing to load on Linux. Also fixes a bug causing your avatar's arm to lag a turn when covering yourself. Sorry for the bother.
Patch Notes
Protecting your virginity and maintaining angelic purity for a long time will result in changes to your character. Does not stack with the wolfgirl/boy transformation.
Added three uncommon events to the forest. One requires bestiality enabled. One requires bestiality and vore enabled, and has an additional component if swarms are enabled.
You can displace your clothing during most encounters.
Added improved cum drip animations by Bear299.
Added clothing to the sex sprite, art courtesy of Ulithium_Dragon. Only appears when in the "idle" position, and skirts use shorts for now.
Dolphins have their own sprite, art also courtesy of Ulithium_Dragon.
Balance Changes
Adjusted the difficulty of skulduggery on Connudatus Street and the compound on Elk Street.
Leaving Eden's Cabin after obtaining permission now puts you closer to town.
Reduced the amount of purity restored by remaining a virgin.
Human partners can now slowly raise your awareness to higher levels.
Entering Eden's cabin will stop you being hunted.
Orgasms remove more arousal, unless under the effects of an aphrodisiac.
Beauty rises much faster, particularly if your trauma is low. Excess trauma lowers beauty.
Bug Fixes
You can no longer rob people on Connudatus Street while exposed.
Fixed a bug that could reset your "Whored yourself" stat.
School grades no longer decay at the weekend.
The progress bar now remains after school skills reach A*.
Thigh length pink hair no longer stretches to the ground between your legs.
Fixed a gamebreaking bug that could trigger after delivering a note to the headteacher.
Disabling tentacles will now correctly prevent the tentacle encounter in the forest from occurring.
Messages caused by gaining or losing traits should no longer be skipped if you're asleep when they trigger.
Safes in Domus Street will now tell you when they no longer improve your skulduggery skill.
Safes in Danube Street will now improve your skulduggery skill.
Fixed a bug causing Doren to materialise in place of a rapist.
Strip actions are no longer unavailable while dancing without any trauma.
You can no longer pull down your underwear if something is in the way.
Worn out tentacles can no longer be interacted with by your feet.
Tentacles squeezing your breasts will no longer create a phantom tentacle when disabled.
Using the "kiss" action with a penis in front of your mouth or between your breasts will now kiss the penis.
Giving an npc a titfuck will prevent them from kissing your mouth. May still be issues during encounters with multiple npcs.
Fucking an npc's ass will show on the sex sprite.

It's more due to the underlying system and how it will be expanded in the future. But you're not wrong, allowing it to stack would be feasible for the moment.

ReplyDeleteIf you wanted to take it a step further, you could make it so the player character can sleep in the wolf den and bathe in a river outside (with some risk of encounters while bathing?) to make the wolf den an alternate housing option for the player. No rent, no psychotic kidnapper, but you don't have access to a wardrobe and you need to have a lot of wolf-sex for it to become available. Seems like a fair trade-off, really.

Baily's rent days get shifted depending upon when you encounter him/her. My character was with Eden until a Friday about 200 days in. Baily approached looking for rent. Slept at orphanage until next Friday when Baily asked again. Prior to that it was on a Tuesday, and at the start on a Monday.

DeleteThings I've noticed so far while playing(0.1.9 though, so it may or may not be fixed by now) and suggestions:
ReplyDelete-Changing to your pajamas when going to bed makes you strip off your underwear for who knows what reason. Going naked does the same but that's pretty obvious. Also, dressing yourself casually or for school while you don't have underwear won't make you wear underwear again. I can understand if exhibitionism being high would leave out the underwear, but it happens if you're not an exhibitionist as well.
-There's no homework? You could add an option to do homework at home to keep your grades high instead of no decay. With lower grades taking more time to finish it with a limited amount of homework per schoolweek/day or something.
Oh, and another:
Delete-If you orgasm as a boy while they're fingering you or whatever they're doing that caused you to orgasm while having that idle-like sprite, you won't see any orgasm animation or anything, until they decide to kiss you or penetrate you. Not sure if that makes sense.

-Transparent/sheer clothes (might be hard to implement so maybe for starters as school clothes/swimsuit when you have to borrow one? Just flat sexiness/allure untill expanded later)
- TITS SIZE AT START. Right now "grinding" tits to grow is really annoying and dangerous and it can easily fuck our game when we are aroused. I BEG you master add this one plsss :(
- Setting to make stats for clothes visible? Or make tip with each "level" of clothing stat (i mean sexiness and destructibility).

ReplyDeleteStarted a new game to test out purity mechanics. Got into a detention spiral (fellow student wants to talk, arrive to class late, etc, etc). Accrued enough detention to get spanked.
During spanking encounter, Leighton appeared to have gender issues a-la "futa portal" ones. (NPC description = The look eager. look stimulated. look frustrated. look cautious.) I don't think PC had any encounters between this and the initial one, so the gender issue could come from there.
The other issue is "mouth actions" during the Leighton encounter. Game does not remember "Apologize" choice, probably because in every other instance the option disappears after being picked one. Here, it doesn't, but player has to manually pick it to keep apologizing because the mouth option choice defaults to "Plead".
Also, boobjob mouth actions now default to "Kiss". In some situations there are no other options, so "Kiss" gets chosen by default.

It can be done by school teachers/principal/guy in caffe because he thinks you are thief (or just wants to see you naked). Sometimes they can take your clothes/underwear with them or just make some holes (if they want to or because you werent cooperative)

School uniforms are always overpriced and it will force us to take care of outfit (don't run around entire map and forest while wearing it) or borrow uniforms from principal (so there will be some more encounters). Same with school swimsuit price should be like 100-150 for same reasons :) I know the price is really high but we need some difficulity outside of rapes (because when they stack its game over).

DeleteI started getting annoyed by the fact that the school skirt gets ripped to shreds so often and started experimenting.
If you sit in the library and study during daylight hours the chance seem to be almost one in three that you'll rip your skirt slightly "while getting up". If you try to study between the lunch break and history you'll end up having to buy a new skirt almost literally every day, and that's just from school related shenanigans not taking into account the magic cars that can rip your skirt as you travel though alleys.
Overall the game is amazing but I find that the deck is stacked a little too heavily against you for my tastes. Everything and everyone Is out to see you naked. The longest period I've gone without having to change clothes or get detention for not wearing the uniform has been two days.
Hell, I've bought a new set and have its first rip appear the moment I moved away from the shopping centre. This coupled with the relentless threat of rape keeps the game form being fully enjoyable honestly. Having to worry about being raped while skulking through alleys in the dark is one thing, having to worry about being raped literally for just walking down the street is something else entirely.
Maybe implement an aggression slider in the settings screen or something? Seems to me the entire town is made up solely out of rapists...
Love the game. I enjoy free-roaming games where just exploring is the main appeal so your game is perfect for me. Just a couple of suggestions, then:
ReplyDelete1. Now, the game is fine as just a, er, “victim simulator”, but how about an endgoal to it? Let’s say, since the game literally starts with your landlord threatening to throw you out if you don’t pay an ever-increasing fee, how about getting to own a house/apartment at some point? Obviously, it would have to be very expensive and come with its own drawbacks (say, there’s a chance thieves break in and steal your things), but it would add some sense of direction to the whole thing. Maybe you can even buy pets for the eventual consensual bestiality/tentacle/slime/vore/whatever scenes.
2. As for BDSM, how about being able to buy collars and ropes from the accessory shop at some point? Or eventually gaining a Bondage trait, which would mean your trauma significantly reduces the more you are in public while tied up, with the obvious drawback that you can easily trigger rape scenes and are unable to do much while in them.
3. I haven’t noticed a drawback to skipping lunch. Perhaps it could make fatigue or stress increase faster, or reduce physical strength?
Also, how do I get the hirsute wolf transformation? I've eaten a lot of wolfshrooms and been in the wolf den several times but I can't get past the wolf tail.

DeleteHey, spent a few hours playing both a boy and girl, and noticed a few things.
ReplyDelete1. I can't seem to increase Skullduggery after breaking in to Domus Street houses? I didn't find anything other than the school lock that matches the skill level, and that lock doesn't increase skill. I was basically stuck at D-level Skullduggery.
2. So far it's been incredibly difficult to lower Trauma. Any action I took to decrease it would almost immediately be negated by some random stranger's comments. I spent a whole week doing nothing but socializing in class and Trauma didn't budge in the end. (that's also including savescumming any encounters) I think it might be worth expanding the functionality of the Hospital to offer some sort of (expensive) trauma care that will clear a good chunk of trauma, but at a high monetary and time cost. Otherwise, I think my male character (who's seen as a cool dude by his schoolmates) is going to show up to class one day with a gun and go for the high score.
3. I also agree with what one earlier poster said about having an actual endgame or option to really leave the orphanage. If you take high stakes risks and it pays out, It'd be nice to get out of the orphanage (run by someone who thinks weekly living expenses grow exponentially). Just pay a big lump sum and get out of dodge. Could also be that you find accommodations at a shady business or with certain clientele, provided that you do what they demand of you, no matter how depraved. That could also lead into homelessness, which would all around be bad for stat recovery and greatly increase the risk of encounters.
All in all, I had a fun time playing it. But I do enjoy trying to "beat" this kind of game by maintaining some level of decency, rather than intentionally victimizing my characters. That's probably a somewhat against the current spirit of the game :P

Trauma is hard to reduce if you're not willing to be lewd. This is by design, but I want playing a "decent" character to be possible, though difficult. There's content planned that should help. I've been considering making the regular -Trauma actions more effective too.
More alternative living arrangements are also planned. There won't ever be a completely safe place for the main character though.

Not them, but could you add some sort of indication or something when/why a non-sex action that's supposed to lower trauma isn't working? Like cuddling with Eden or talking/crying at Doren's. Sometimes the trauma bar just doesn't move whatsoever no matter what and there's nothing to indicate why or how to get it to go down. Is there some sort of rising minimum trauma or something?
DeleteMost -trauma actions have a very small impact, often not noticeable on the bar. I'm considering increasing their effect. I do want recovering from high trauma to be a difficult process though.

Maybe something like "blank" clothing slots that don't show up in-game unless they have images and names attached to them? Maybe choose between a few hairstyles at the mirror and when you first make your character you could maybe see a visual difference when you pick between being Tiny/Big etc. Also more purely visual things like skin colour, eye shape etc. I know this is a lot more work than it sounds but would be cool to be able to turn your character into something of your own. Keep up the good work
