This update can be considered the first part of the farm proper. I wanted to give the "bad end" scenario it's own update, as there are several points in town that can lead there, and it's a meaty area in its own right. Future updates will add more benign farms, and ways to make money. Currently all horses and centaur have penises, but I'll add female genitals if there's demand.
I've presented animal boys and girls a little differently in the new area. They can appear outside encounters. I'm considering giving the wolf cave a similar treatment.
A bunch of issues related to clothes were fixed, but old saves may still be affected. To fix them, go to the tailor and take advantage of the new repair or sell by delivery options. Let me know if things remain wonky.

- Failing to pay Bailey and being sold three times will now send the PC to a new location out in the countryside.
- Added horses. Art courtesy of Anon, including the main body, close-ups, x-rays and props. All horses have penises for the time being.
- Horses can be replaced by centaur should settings and traits allow it. Centaur gender is based on human gender settings, rather than beast. Female centaur require the chance for women to have penises to be set to at least 1%.
- Horse and centaur penises are larger than existing cocks, and work differently during encounters.
- Gave horses and centaur different ejaculation text to account for the much greater quantities of semen they produce.
- Added a new named NPC, who rules the above location through liberal use of their whip.
- Added a new type of restraint to encounters that can lock down the PC's legs and head. Art courtesy of Anon.

- Refusing defiant opportunities and accepting your role at the above location will cause the PC to transform. Gaining points towards the cow/bull transformation will weaken other animal transformations.

- Added a muzzle, which functions as a gag. Art courtesy of KG.
- Added new body-writing lines and the "cattle" body-writing category.
- Added a new event to the town's streets. Involves an abduction attempt should the PC be particularly beautiful, which can lead to the new location. Skilled or cautious PCs may avoid it.
- Going with the police when confronted outside the cafe with max chef suspicion will also now lead to the new location.
- Added a strange van to the bus station. Investigating it will lead to the new location. This will likely be removed in the future, but I wanted to add an easy way to access and test the new area.
- You can now apologise to Avery after standing them up.
- Added Mason's love and lust to the cheat menu.
- Added the cow/bull transformation to the cheat menu.
- Added "Fluid forcibly milked" to the statistics overlay.
- The game will now present a more appropriate message when failing to find part of a clothing set that's already worn by the PC. Thanks to Lollipop Scythe.
- You can now ask Eden to teach you how to shoot in the evenings.
- Robin will now always refuse a threesome on halloween should their confidence be high enough.

DeleteI don't plan to make a full post about the poll, though there were a few surprising results. We held a simpler poll over a year ago that revealed an even split between people playing male and female characters. Female characters have since become more popular. Not sure if that's due to changes in the game, or a changing playerbase.
I don't expect polls to change the intended direction of the game, but they might reveal how well I'm successfully following that direction.
I would guess that the new female characters are in part due to all the fun and relatively new clothing options for female characters like the cheongsam and the gingham dress. I would not be surprised if the fairly recent leather jacket and the chaps cause a spike in male characters, especially since there are horses now. I'm a cowboy. On a steel horse I ride...

ReplyDeleteAlso, as DF fan, can I beg about kind of savescummer trait (or Ironman trait instead)? Both of them to affect allure and/or lead to some new events (Bailey-style for Savescummers and leading role for Ironmans).
General allure mechanic: in cache it saves how much times player loads the same save. 1 (manual) save += 1pt, 1 load (less than 30 minutes offline) += 5 pt, daily -= 3; As score raises allure raises too, as score falls - allure takes negative raising too.
Also, if I'll made a mod ("Emigration" like "Papers Please" ending, "Propaganda wars" as "Liberal Crime Squad" game, "class-6 interactions pack" and so on) - how I can submit it for overview?
In this case it's opens possibility to me even to try to make cascade quests (say, [danube homework] > [forest] > [wolfperson] > [townpack monster hunters] or [danube apron] > [sea yacht] > [tentacle realm rapetrough] as well as other starting scenarios.)
I asked Lollipop Scythe to look into an ironman mode, but he came to a bit of a wall. The save system is beyond my coding ability.

Just as an example for what I'm thinking, maybe the event where they try to snap your bra, instead they lift your shirt to flash other students, or where they point at you, whisper to each other and laugh, they could just outright shout degrading things at you. I DUNNO MAN I JUST LIKE SCHOOL THINGS.
ReplyDeleteI agree fame should influence events at school. I plan to add school-specific fame, that will be separate from, but impacted by, more general fame. This is kinda what status already is, but it's a bit simplistic right now.
DeleteDelinquency already prevents teachers from intervening to protect you, but the requirement is high, and it usually doesn't lead to outright abuse. It does make them nastier during their classroom events though.

I'd prefer a path where you get kidnap simply to "milk" horses and satisfy them, and not to become a cow... no eating grass nor getting milked nor anything like that, you're simply there to "extract" semen from horses (or other animals), willingly or not. Playing a character who does slutty things to survive is one of the core playstyles I want the game to support. I agree there are lots of ways it could be better.
"They extract the semen themselves" well, not really though, the only part where they "rape" you is when you try to escape, but otherwise, you have to willingly go to them and start jerking the off. If you want to roleplay as a character who's willing to do that stuff only because she gets something out of it (money or something else), and not because she actually likes it, you can't. As i said, you either get raped, or become slutty. Or you simply don't do anything and stay still...
DeleteAre you thinking on implementing a mechanic with body hair and body odor? Something like it gets worse with time making people bully you more and the sex scenes more dangerous but less regular. And is there a way I can check the progress with the game or know when the next update are coming or what they are about? The wait is always worth it but it gets hard to wait without more information. Love the game so far and hope your doing well.

As a heads up, it appears that swimming downstream in the river and getting caught breaks the farmhands trust and permanently locks it to the minimum. I've been consistently obeying and not resisting at all, but the farmhands still expect an escape attempt from me at any moment.

DeleteIronically, I've discovered that escaping the farm and being recaptured allows you to increase the farmhand trust again. Also, in the photoshoot scene, if a pig mounts your face a wolf sprite appears instead, though it's still described as a pig.

DeleteYou're just missing scene variants at the farm with monster boys/girls off. All the same options are present, with one minor exception.
Phrases that are truncated like Ey for Hey or Attaboy for That's my boy are generally preceeded by an apostrophe to mark them as truncated. I think if you adjust it to " 'Ey girl " it'll read fine.

I'd say add female genitalia to the horses, if for nothing else than consistency. After all, dogs, cats, wolves, dolphins, boars, and bears (though the last two are harder to come across in my experience) all have male and female variants, so it makes sense if you're trying to keep things in your game consistent. At least, in my mind it does.

That's been around since NPC's first became able to target the PC's chest with their mouths. Reported it back then as a possible bug (back on the bucket before it broke), don't remember if it was marked as resolved, intentional, or waiting on a fix. As for the logic of multiple NPC's per nipple, I guess they could be taking turns? Maybe?

Haven't even DL'd it yet, but are centaurs being considered for a transform? Definitely would enjoy having that option, but could also see the changes being considered too blatant to ignored (although it's still not clear how 'real' all the transforms are, River could actually be justified about wanting the PC to take off it's headband). Could lead to anatomy complications for the PC, blocking masturbation and possibly forcing the PC into heat/male equivalent if arousal isn't dealt with. Actually, the arousal management thing would fit for all the animalistic transforms now that I'm thinking about it (and would give the player a reason to send their character to the bathrooms).

Are horse event's blocked, or does it force herms?
A centaur transformation isn't planned, but I agree it could be cool. It would add complications.

With 100% female NPCs only, the game will generate female doggirls or dogs. If beasts are disabled as well, you'll just get whipped.
I would also enjoy a bit of horse pussy, and if possible breeding events with the bulls/cows in the field? Similar to the wolf cave where they either force you or offer consensual options, would be a nice addition

I don't know why but I downloaded the game and it works fine except the pictures don't appear. No idea if it was me doing something wrong, my pc, something with the download or whatever. Just wanted to warn you in case someone else gets the same problem.

Either complaining about them or even hunting them, which would probably make things stressed between the two. Just some flavor text when they go hunting alone that they saw the black wolf or that they lost/stole a hunt from them would add more to them as a actual character instead of just another npc who can own you. Just a thought that popped up, sorry to be a bother but if I didnt send my thought they might never get out.

Hi Vrelnir, something weird happened and I'd like your help with understanding it. So, in this update, I opened my wardrobe to find no less than twelve freaking short cheongsam bottoms in the "Lower" catergory, as well as three oversized sweater bottoms, and a couple of monk habit bottoms. By bottoms, I mean just the standalone lower parts of outfit-class clothing, putting them on works but makes you topless, as the upper part of the outfit just doesn't exist. I fired up 0.2.12.5 to check if all of those bottoms were always there, and they weren't, my wardrobe looked normal. But then I realized that the number of clothing in my Lower category didn't change between updates! In 0.2.12.5, I had 25 visible pieces of clothing in my wardrobe, and this includes the outfits and their lower parts, but the counter said I had 38!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I think happened: Somehow a bunch of broken lower halves of the outfits I wear the most ended up in my wardrobe. They were invisible, couldn't be worn, but still took up wardrobe space, which meant my wardrobe was haunted by spooky ghost clothing. Now it looks like 0.2.13 has made that buggy clothing visible, allowing it to be deleted. Was this on purpose?
Also, a couple of bug reports: In the wardrobe, the first time you click to wear something doesn't work. If I click on a piece of clothing, the page refreshes and goes back to its top as normal, but the actual piece of clothing isn't equipped. After that, the wardrobe works as usual. This happened last in 0.2.12 too, but it had an error message then, and it doesn't now. Also, one of the NPCs "broke free" at the Tailor's, after fixing the clothes I was wearing at the moment.
You're correct about how this happened. It was an intentional fix for invisible damaged clothes cluttering the wardrobe.

When regular NPCs have big dicks there's a lot of flavor text related to it, but when the horse goes at it there's not much there. Would be great if there was constant red text with variations of "It's sheer size robs you of your breath as it continuously rams into you" or something along those lines just to make the whole thing feel more severe and more different from regular scenes. Minor thing but I feel it'd add a lot.

That morning NPC shows up more often if you have high allure, but being kept naked means your allure is always high. Perhaps the chance should be adjusted.

Maybe even create it as an alternate love interest (I mean it's described as a "best friend" so why not a "lover"), you could have dreams about it where you enter a realm similar to the tentacle realm in the asylum but you only see one figure which presents itself as a humanoid shape. Depending on your status with it, you could make this dream be either a fantasy or a nightmare producing/decreasing trauma/stress/arousal etc. I'd like to think it has a deeper desire than just forcing you into dangerous situations.

ReplyDeleteThe option to generate named npcs' breast sizes based on npc settings doesn't work. The distribution is always quite even between different sizes. I even tried setting it to minimum, where everyone should be flat-chested, but I still get all the sizes, including the largest. Same thing with the highest setting, which I assume should make everyone have the largest size. The option for penis sizes doesn't have this problem.

1) Wear some clothes (e.g. Sundress with plain panties)
2) Go to the clothes shop
3) Try clothes that overlaps the part of already worn clothes (e.g. Ballgown with G-string)
4) Go back to the clothes shop menu and buy clothes that you're trying
5) Go to a wardrobe and find out previous clothes (Sundress and plain panties) are gone
Also I have an idea that "lewd scream" would be good if it brings some audiences or participants:
- Normal scream can bring a savior
- Lewd scream (when drugged) brings audiences like acting defiant in the pillory, or if the system allows, additional participants for initiating gangbang
- With high promiscuity (or some other lewd stat), you may intentionally do lewd scream to collect audiences, no matter it is consensual or not.
