This is a "lots of little things" update, which contrasts with 0.2.0.0's focus on one area.
It includes several new scenes involving Leighton, gives female NPCs different breast sizes, and gives more purpose to the breast feeding toggle. It also includes a couple of new traits, new options when catcalled at school, a "Try on" option at the clothing shop, and makes a bunch of other improvements to clothing and in general.

Patch notes
Leighton can now appear at the brothel on Fridays and Saturdays, and may try to hire you if they see you dancing. Can go in one of four directions, three of which require you to have blackmailed them. Written in collaboration with Wharf.
You can now flirt with, flaunt your breasts at, or flash students who catcall you in the school hallways. Available options depend on exhibitionism, clothing, and breast size.
You can now move your mouth to your partner's chest during encounters, enabling a few new options. Thanks to everyone who helped write speech lines for NPCs who are having their chests interacted with.
Female NPCs now have different breast sizes. A slider in settings controls the sizes they'll spawn with.
Female NPCs may "encourage" you to suck their nipples by pushing your head against their breasts.
Some female NPCs will lactate if breast feeding is enabled. Drinking fresh breast milk contributes to the cat transformation and lowers purity.
Added the "Milk Addict" trait, gained by drinking a litre of breast milk. Causes further breast milk feedings to improve physique.
Added "Breast milk drank" to the statistics page, which displays the amount of breast milk consumed in milliliters.
NPCs will now interact with under tops (bras and such) during encounters.
Under tops can now be stripped while dancing.

Thanks again to Lollipop Scythe for adding a "Try on" feature to the clothing shop, which lets you view the appearance of clothes before purchase.
Lowered the minimum possible penis size to "mini". Thanks to Lollipop Scythe.
Mini penises are so small that NPCs may struggle to take them, unless the PC is highly aroused.
Added "Crossdresser" as a background, which lets the PC start with opposite sex clothing, and makes wearing opposite sex clothing increase stress decay. Also courtesy of Lollipop Scythe.
Added a pharmacy to the hospital that sells pills that change body part size over time. Once more courtesy of Lollipop Scythe.
Moved the "Step away" option at mirrors to the top of the screen.
Added the options to change under top integrity and wetness to the cheat menu.
Thanks to NG for improvements to the dance studio that make changes to the other students' opinion of the PC more apparent.
The journal will now display a reminder when you have a date scheduled with Avery.
Thanks for NG for further improvements to NPC orgasms, notably adding unique lines for named characters.
Enabled the missionary sprite for encounters with tentacles. Thanks to sseshess for the missionary tentacle images.

Added an oversized variant of the sweater, which is long enough to cover the unmentionables. Just.
The sidebar will now only open when swiping the side of the screen on Android. Thanks to Uncanine.
Characteristics and other sidebar pages now open a window within the current page, rather than opening a new page. They can now be opened during encounters, with the exception of cheats. Thanks to Lollipop Scythe for helping me work this out.
The above change has allowed a reduction in the amount of information the game needs to keep track of, reducing the size of save files and improving performance in older games.
Balance Changes
Lowered the audience lust required before NPCs take actions as you dance, increasing the window for some events.
Lowered the minimum allure modifier in settings to 0.2.
Reworked how purity interacts with breast and penis growth. Having your breasts played with now encourages growth. Thanks to Lollipop Scythe.
Storing an item in a location that already contains an item of that category will now send the old item to the wardrobe, rather than destroy it.
The "empty eyes" effect is now applied at 90% of max trauma, down from 100%.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug causing some monster boys and girls to be described as "undefined".
Fixed a bug causing Bailey to be described with Robin's pronoun.
Thanks to Anon for adjustments to the fishnet tights sprite.
The "swept left" hairstyle should now appear on the sidebar sprite.
Fixed a bug preventing named NPC trust from carrying over between encounters.
Fixed a bug causing the character to appear is if in the missionary position while stuck in a wall at the brothel.
Fixed a bug causing status to drop instead of increase when getting angry when being "hooked" at the docks.
A lone "Rest" option will no longer appear at the top of the actions menu when stuck in a pillory or wall.
Fixed a couple of errors in audience speech causing apparently male PCs to be describe with female pronouns.
Clothes should no longer fix themselves after fighting someone off while trapped in the pillory on Cliff Street.
Fixed a bug causing clothing wetness to pass from one item to another.
Offering yourself to the tentacle monster beneath the lake now has a deviancy requirement as intended.
Asking to swim naked in swimming class now always has an exhibitionism requirement as intended.
The sidebar description of your state of undress and wetness should now take partially-undressed and wet under tops into account.
The "Get Dressed" option at the pool and elsewhere will now correctly wear accessories.
Fixed a bug allowing you to enter the school pool while a lesson is in session without any clothing with low exhibitionism.
Fixed a bug causing Robin to be described with a female pronoun regardless of their actual gender when in the snake's stomach, thanks to NG.
Thanks to NG for fixing a bug causing NPCs on the bus to get a wet blotch on their trousers at inappropriate times.
Fixed a bug causing menus to remain hidden after sexing Whitney after pickpocketing someone on Connudatus Street.
Catcallers in the school corridors should no longer accuse you of having "cow tits" while you have "modest" breasts.
Closed a herm portal opened by refusing the NPC who tries to blackmail you after cleaning their gutters.
Losing an item of clothing will no longer allow an event to trigger right after the previous, where they otherwise wouldn't.
The cat transformation will now increase attractiveness and allure as intended.

DeleteThis looks good! Especially after all the work you put into the clothing overhaul. Glad to see that you're still trucking. Have you considered adding a gaming tournament event? Probably linked to Robin, with options to train with him/her in the weeks leading up to it. Robin could compete in the solo competition, with his/her chances based on how much you trained, and you could also compete in the co-op mode, with a cash prize based on placing (eg. £1000 for 1st, £500 for 2nd, £250 for 3rd) this would allow for plenty of bonding time with Robin, and you could even rope Whitney into the event (possibly a sneaky scene in the restrooms) with a high enough promiscuity the player can sell his/her "services" to the various spectators.

DeleteThe whole point of being nitpicky is to correct every little flaw. It's better to point out what he doesn't like or is bugged and then Vrelnir can choose what to fix and what to leave as is.
DeleteI can comment on a few of those
DeleteFor clothing not being displayed on the missionary/prone position - that's because that art isn't in the game yet. A user that's been remaining anon has been semi-regularly donating artwork (including that position), and hasn't done the clothes for it yet (likely due to either the clothes rework in 2.0 or lack of time)
Breeches - the term likely varies depending on which country's version of English you're using. I speak US English, 'breeches' is basically a semi-obscure word for pants here (the last generation that really used the word is dying off). You'd get some odd looks if you're not in your 80's or 90's and used the word, but people would still know what you meant. Can't speak for other areas. May even be differences in what it means in different parts of the US. The English language is nothing if not inconsistent.
2 departments in store - probably should be a third unisex one if you go with that idea. There are plenty of items (tanktops, jeans, etc) that can go either way and default to the character's biologic gender (not sure how futa's are treated, don't play them). Also possible that unisex clothes could be available in both departments.
Leotards - male gymnasts wear leotards/leotard like things (at least in the Olympics. I think). I think they include built in shorts usually though.
Also, if you scroll up to the top, you can click on the report bugs option and be brought to Vrelnir's bitbucket. Seems to only get checked a few times per update, but the bugs will be seen there. No registration is needed to post bugs, but it's needed if you want to be able to update posts after the initial report to add stuff or the like
Thanks for the bugs, your thoughts, and particularly for taking pictures of graphical glitches. That makes things much easier to work out.
DeleteAnon makes some good points. Language might be a bit of a barrier in some cases. Boyshorts being girls' underwear for example.
I think the way gender appearance is calculated needs a rework. It can be a little hard to work out just what's going on, and how to achieve a masculine or feminine appearance.
I do want to improve the way clothes are sorted in shops. I'm not sure if I should add men's and women's sections, or some way to sort the lists by different traits, including gender.
I haven't tried the update but I already like it. Any new content is a new chance for inspiration. Btw does blackmailing Leighton help us get them to blackmail us quicker?

If you're on PC, you could try opening your browser's console and inputting:
SugarCube.State.active.variables.background = "crossdresser"
In order to get the crossdresser trait.
You could also input
SugarCube.State.active.variables.genitalsensitivity = 1
SugarCube.State.active.variables.breastsensitivity = 1
Where 1 is a number between 1 and 5, in order to change genital and breast sensitivity. Higher is more sensitive.

I'm using the android version so I don't know if it's related to that. The second issue is when the mc gets attacked by a dog, I have it so they are always dogboys if that matters, the orgasm screen text repeats itself. It says you feel ashamed to be fucked by a dogboy in front of people. To be fucked by a dogboy in front of people.
Also I have a request, i play as a female mc and i was wondering if you could add the option of pulling the Male NPC to your chest instead of just being able to put your own head to their chest.

DeleteThey're disappearing from your wardrobe, It happened to underwear multiple times and school clothing once, but I think that's because when you take it off in the pool room it doesn't go into your wardrobe and I just forgot it.
DeleteAlso when you "buy and wear" a top/bottom outerwear (or at least school top and dress), it unequips your bottom/top, making it impossible to leave with full clothing. Adding a wardrobe to the clothing shop would be a good thing and put a band-aid over this issue.

Some smaller things, you can engage in 69 with Robin, or have an npc give you a rimjob. Would be neat to have 69 with other npcs or be the one to give a rimjob.

DeleteI plan to include a sarashi to help large-breasted characters appear masculine. Currently breasts are invisible to NPCs if you're wearing something over them, regardless of their size, but that will change.

how are you supposed to regain control once you're at level 6 for everything? I'm really starting to get into this game but I'm having trouble in that area.
ReplyDeleteStealing during encounters, taking the pills given by doctor Harper, and confiding in Doren if you've unlocked their flat all work. That said, those methods are less powerful, so reaching level 6 in all three stats does limit you.
DeleteThose stats decay unless you're on hard mode. So you still have access to 3 control reductions per day. Running with low control shouldn't end the game, but it does make things harder.
Also worth noting that exhibitionism decays 1 point a day (which I don't really get, but whatever), so you can use ex5 events to recover control as well. I'd recommend beach stripping on clear days, and trying to get the bath scene or the flashing with no underwear city scene on non-clear days. Swimming class with no suit can work as well, but that's fairly late in the day. Keep in mind that some of the lower ex events will push you from 99 back to 100, but won't give you control.
Delete1) Currently the game is treating the chastity like "under bottoms" when you're at the beach. As in, it's not actually lewd, it's just swimwear.

DeleteNot the OP, but guessing they mean the soft lock that you can get from trying to change breast sizes mid-event (doesn't re-generate the some event screens properly, you end up with a textless screen you can't get out of). Likely not actually a bug, just the person not paying attention to when you're able to open the cheat menu safely.

DeleteLiterally nothing happens. :O At the start of every game, I head to my bedroom to ensure there aren't too many variables before I open the cheat menu. Head down to the breast size option, crank it up to 9, sleep until midnight, and there is no change.
Used to work, now it doesn't; such is the way of bugs. :D
Body changes can take several days to trigger.

ReplyDeleteI decided to start from scratch so I had nothing, decided to buy multiple Sundresses with different colors. When I check my wardrobe it is full of just White Sundresses. I double checked maybe I didn't click on the color selections properly and it is confirmed that I can only buy White when I know I bought black, red, green, yellow and pink.
This bug is affecting other clothing as well, some of them work and give me the colors I chose but some just give you the default white color.

ReplyDeleteIt'd also be interesting for npcs to have different sized penises, and pc to have difficulty and/or pain when penetrated by a well endowed encounter. Perhaps this could also be affected by pc size, where its more strenuous for a small character to take large insertions.
I suggested the same 2 updates ago - Vrelnir said it is planned. He already has a system in mind: you'll have to level your skills to manage big/monstrous penises. Just is not implemented yet.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you had any plans to address some of the weird contortionist stuff NPCs do during sex? It's definitely gotten more common with the chest region being added and I can only see it becoming a bigger issue as encounters get increasingly complex.
A more nitpicky request is if you could add a toggle to remove the size descriptions for random NPC's breasts. It's a little weird for a "voluptuous woman" to be described as having tiny breasts, or a "petite woman" to have gigantic breasts.

DeleteI do plan to address contortionist NPCs. I need to decide if I should rework the system to make it easier to manage, or stick to the disembodied limbs NPCs currently have and manually update everything to make sure weird stuff doesn't happen. The latter would be easier in the short term, but would become more complex as encounters do.
You're right that it's a bit weird for a voluptuous woman to have small breasts. It's something I realised only after releasing the update. I plan to make NPC generation more robust in the future, and will find a solution then.
Any hints on what the next update will bring?

DeleteTo each their own but I'd say it is WAY too hard to fight off an attacker, and the pepper spray is practically worthless, I made a male char of the largest possible size and he ends up raped EVERY time he tries to fight his way out. I understand that is likely because you don't want people escaping such encounters all the time without sex but being completely unable to win a fight is just awful, additionally stats take too long to improve, If I practice swimming for two weeks i should have at least B rank by the end, not freaking C.

DeleteI use them both in the same round (playing with one of the smaller sizes) and in the second round I go with punch/punch/kick. It also helps to have maximum physique. Of course, I do have to find refills every time. That can be tricky.
Search the docks for a weekend job (Sat/Sun ONLY, 7AM - 7PM). That gives you an excellent workout.
1 pepper spray should be enough for most solo NPCs. Some named NPCs need more, namely Eden, Bailey, Morgan and the black wolf. Groups need a spray per member, which makes groups of 6 very dangerous.
DeleteOne possible problem is NPCs sharing a health pool. Doesn't matter if you've sprayed one, they'll be just as strong until you've knocked down the whole group.
That said, there may always be situations where the focus should be on damage mitigation through bratty and submissive acts, rather than outright defiance.
Also what cop would assume the collar was from kinky play? For that matter there should be an option to tell the head teacher when you've been locker stuffed, and tell the police when a crazy forest woman kidnaps and collars you like an animal.

The town's "Curse" affects everyone else. If you take the evidence against Leighton they literally throw it on the pile.

There appears to be some sort of bug in the latest one I downloaded? When my character (female) is in the missionary position, anytime her arms are restrained it shows the animation for purple tentacles, despite having tentacles disabled in the game. Just wanted to let you know!!

The first is another transformation. The idea being some kind of merperson as it would give the player more to do in the ocean.
The second is a very weird one as it involves superhero and powers. I don't know why i just like the idea.
