This update adds content to the lake, a third science project and a cinema you can visit with Robin. It also reworks how feelings of control impact your character.

Made a third, lewd project available for the science fair.
Retrieving lichen from the lake ruin is now more involved.
Another science fair will be held on saves that have already finished one.
Swimming deeper into the lake ruin can lead to treasure. Note that you won't lose air during encounters for the time being.
Added a museum to Oxford Street. It opens on weekends. They'll buy any treasures you find.
Added hallucinogens as a third drug effect. They enable the two hallucination traits regardless of trauma or awareness level.
Fleshed out the lake with more events, with help from Klain.
You can now take Robin to the cinema in the evening once their love is high enough (two hearts).
Added a unique sprite for the black wolf, art courtesy of Ulithium_Dragon.
Harper's pills will now show up in your bedroom. You can take them once a day to restore control and lower awareness.
Balance Changes
Lewd fluid will no longer wash off during encounters in water.
Separated the drunk and aphrodisiac effects and gave them each their own stat bar.
Swimming out of the eel encounters in the drains and sea is easier.
Control is now a scale, rather than a toggle.
Most actions that would restore or shatter control now increase or decrease it by 25%.
Having less than 50% control activates trauma-related traits. High control gives resistance to trauma.
Control will slowly recover on its own.
Defeating Bailey in the orphanage will now leave you in your bedroom, rather than the main hall.
Bug Fixes
The student who gropes you in maths will now cum when their arousal hits max.
Moving your mouth to a penis or pussy will no longer increment the "orally penetrated" stat.
Fixed an issue with the angel transformation not changing when losing your virginity during gangbangs.
Fixed a bug letting you dive for lichen in the lake after the science fair has concluded.
Fixed a bug causing Avery's gender to ignore NPC settings.
Fixed a bug freeing your arms during the second brothel punishment sequence.
Fixed a gamebreaking bug during the pass out scene at the lake.
Fixed a possible gender mix-up during the first "Robin is missing" scene.
Fixed a problem with dance lessons sometimes opening with part of the introduction text, even if it's not the first visit.
Fixed an issue with the wrong text appearing following the brothel gangbang show. For real this time (I hope.)
The tea party event on Danube Street will now correctly advertise that it will take 40 minutes.
Being under the influence of a drug will no longer make your pain bar disappear.
Fixed a bug preventing the "moth-eaten mattress" event from working properly.
Fixed a bug causing the anxiety and severe anxiety traits to have an effect at lower trauma levels than intended.
Updated tutorial to include deviancy.
Fixed a bug causing a molestation to be considered consensual if you refuse the black wolf in the wolf cave.
Fixed a bug causing breasts to grow past the cap on smaller characters.
Being woken up by a greedy Bailey will no longer prevent the PC from dressing properly.
You will now fix your clothing after refusing to be blackmailed if caught masturbating in class.

Balance Changes
Trauma traits will now be considered "in control" if your sense of control is anxious or better.
Two of the events triggered by searching pots in the lake ruin are now stressful.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug causing visiting the cinema with Robin to become unavailable until the following day.

Trauma traits should now be properly enabled if your Control bar is below the intended value.

The lake vore encounter will no longer happen if your hallucinations are under control.

Descriptions of enemy states detailing their pain, arousal etc. will no longer disappear within certain ranges.
The third science project should now be doable for characters already in the middle of the project.

ReplyDeleteI have one issue with how the game engine works now the more game you play the slower it gets, its very noticeable on older or weaker PCs. Having more than 90 days in game (more than 100kb save file) it takes 2 seconds for each render of the page compared to near instant with 'clean' save.

DeleteHi, same anon that posted about a minute ago about helping with bug reporting/feature suggestions. I actually know a game with the same engine (or at least same exact base engine and ui) that i've helped on and from what I can tell its actually just a symtpom of how it reads save data as it gets longer, only thing to do for it is try to condense how much information is actually stored or make it a seperate process from a web browser (ala slavemaker 3.0 was made into a flash process back in the day)
DeleteYou can try a fix for now (I DIDN'T TEST IT, IT MIGHT BREAK YOUR SAVE ALWAYS KEEP A BACKUP):
Delete- Export your save to a .save file
- Go to www . saveedit online .com (remove the spaces)
- Import your save
- Delete all (but last 10 ?) string in the "expired" parameter
- Download your save
- Import it again

DeleteThanks for the update, i think the cafe could use some work. Firsty, 5 dollars an hour is a little to low maybe somewhere around 8-9. Second, as a waitress i think tips should happen every hour between 0-15 dollars, maybe based on a waitress skill that you can build to get extra tips. Just some thoughts.

Hi, recently found this game and was actually going to try and find your email to ask if there was a debug/cheat menu for it so I could test some odd occurences i've noticed. Hope this clears up any confusion for anyone else who has the same issue with trying to get progress that project.

DeleteYou could add them in as 'extra credits' projects after the fair is complete, letting you use them to increase your science stat and your rep with the teachers (and possibly also your rep with the students depending on what project you do).
DeleteThis could also open up further options for additional 'extra credits' projects in other classes. Exploring historical landmarks for history class, writing a short story/novella for english class (after 'gathering inspiration' for it around town), stuff like that.

Have a handful of Science Fair options to do would be nice. maybe even be unable to do the same types of projects during that year, or even between school breaks. Or; maybe you are expected to go do something more in-depth if you want to try and repeat the Lichen project a second time after winter break. It could be a good way to get some more compound content on the go. There is lots of room to end up unraveling the mysterious of Rapeshire; Demons? plant girls and other weirdness. I don't mean to nail down a definitive answer like there is something in the water. But just the whole supernatural elements and transformation and just the general sexual aggression has my mind cranking about such a wonderfully lewd world.
DeleteMaybe add a sports festival. If you ended up placing 1,2nd or 3rd and people remember how well that you did the next time. Some betting perhaps? people will bet on any fucking thing and you get offered to throw the festival for a huge cash out; or maybe a third party wants you to beat the top girl/boy for a huge fame boost and they are really hedging their bets on that kid's loss; and if you fail... well you are going missing for a long time. Maybe; failing in some skullduggery checks or turning yourself in ends up having the (crooked) cops investigating you and like; becoming some sort of plant/snitch/rat and maybe they will stop shaking down Robin because of your good relationship with the local cops.
Plays and other Drama stuff could be really neat too for some safer options for long term goals. Having to go to the Dancing studio with a group of 3-4 girls on the weekend and starting out a performance club; and then trying to hobble along with just a handful of actors and stage hand. Maybe invite Robin Or Whitney for some extra help. Something sappy and romantic between you and Robin. Or who knows; maybe Whitney likes Showtunes and vaudeville; and before you know it there is a performance of guys and dolls with the bully's friends acting as backup.
Of course; I wouldn't expect anything like this till Holiday's 2.0 X3

Just a question/suggestion: There is a group of /d/eviants with a parasite fetish and frankly there aren't many (competently made) games that really cater. I totally understand if it isn't your cup of tea and you keep the related content in game as is, but on the off chance you are interested I wanted to share some thoughts. I like the wolf and angel/demon transformation systems and I think the next transformation should be something related to parasites (maybe call the completed trans. "Parasite host" or something).
The parasite(s) should be discreet enough that you can still go to school etc. so that you can actually play and experience the whole game. I think it would be a cool idea if the parasites played mostly on your sexuality, but unlike demon transform I think parasite should have more benefits and trade offs. The current breast parasite is pretty much just all benefit to grow your char's bust and get rid of it when you are happy with the size, and the genital parasite is all downside with higher arousal and causing you to cum at random times and places if you aren't careful: I think saving thousands of dollars on increasing bust size should come with more downsides, like starting you on the parasite transformation path for example! I think it should progress with number of times you cum in someone or someone cums inside you, similar to wolf transform, but additionally I think there is narrative possibility for choices to deal with both parasite induced compulsions (like wanting to cum/get cummed in for example) and maybe even quest like systems where it might compel your char to go do/eat/have sex with something (I'm thinking for example: one day your char might get a compulsions to seek out x number of lizards or find a certain lichen a la science project system, and there would be benefits for obeying the parasite and downsides for resisting: like trauma+- and control+- but you could really put any stats here as the parasite should be able to adjust your mind and physique at high enough levels). I imagine the physical parasite would start of analy for male characters and vaginally for female: the first mechanism should be increased arousal from essentially non stop prostate massages for male characters and the usual clit stimulation for female. At some lower level they would then cause your character to involuntarily "milk" with their muscles for lack of a better word anything that enters their ass/genitals which would cause purple actions while penetrated to be be super effective because they are so pleasurable for your partner (similar to how fangs do more bite damage for example). Male characters would get a buff to their performance as well by going at it with increased vigour and maybe if at a later date you add different genital sizes it could grow or change shape etc. At higher levels you can imagine the parasite might cause you to be warmer or secrete aphrodisiac lubricant or give out strong pheromones which buff tease "damage" for example and have narrative opportunities to write events like public gang bangs because you didn't realise you were letting out pheromones, but the positive is that your pheromones make you more "charismatic" so it's easier to convince people when you are talking to them.
If you try to resist the parasite by not doing what it wants and not giving into it's compulsions then there should be an event perhaps while you are sleeping where the parasite starts expanding in your orifice and then contracting essentially fucking the character from the inside, then ejaculating drugs that causes your character to have extremely high allure and arousal gain just for the next 24 hours making playing the next day a challenge (maybe even have special scenes that happen that day)...
At very very high transformation levels maybe the parasite(s) could even transform your nipples to allow penetrative sex with your breasts if they are big enough, or transform your tongue into essentially a succubus snake tongue that buffs your oral effectiveness, I can imagine a character sprite with a bit of their long tongue sticking out from one side of their mouth (I think that would be cute). Near the final stages of the transformation narratively I can imagine a scene where for example when Witney bullies you by making you take of your clothes, they get so aroused that they have sex with you right on the spot and have a mind blowing orgasm after which they collapse on the floor out of breath and their friends are shocked that their dominant leader seemed to lose themselves in lust like that, so you "win" the encounter (maybe depending on how you act afterwards you might even end up gaining status instead of losing it). Eventually if people start to notice your “strange” personality they might start blackmailing and controlling your character by threatening NOT to have sex with them. I can imagine this being done by Eden for example. The possibilities are endless for other characters discovering and how they react to it, maybe even "converting" Robin etc.
DeleteAnd there is a tonne of room to grow into different systems as they are implemented, maybe the parasite transformation can even be a test bed for the pregnancy system, or body/genital modifications (maybe after being obedient to the parasite long enough it will let you make a wish to allow you to change some part of your body, like growing a penis for female characters as one way to get hermaphrodites into the game, or getting rid of or changing a tattoo or maybe even changing your body type from small to medium or maybe getting the parasite to grow tentacles or cilia to your genitals to add to the pleasure of having sex with you etc.) You can also ignore everything I just wrote and go for the "living clothes" side of the fetish (I know clothing overhaul is in the works lol) maybe have a living fleshy chastity belt that just has sex with and cums inside your character all the time, or a parasite that can disguise itself as regular clothing but then exposes your chest or ass or genitals at random times if it's horny and wants you to have sex (maybe a clothes parasite will be extra advantageous while working at the strip club or brothel). I think to sum up, the most thrilling part of the fetish for most people is the control/power dynamic of it, I think you can have a lot of fun gameplay-wise as a player trying to balance out your character gaining better stats, or more gameplay options in some areas, with losing stats and having more restricted gameplay options in other areas (like for example the parasite raping your character every once in a while). You have already explored stockholm syndrome in other areas of the game, and you can pretty much explore the characters relationship to the parasite in the same way; whether the character accepts the parasites incrementally more demanding and controlling behaviour or tries their best to maintain control themselves (I imagine you can write a lot of various exhebitionism and promescuity increasing events in as well).
Anyways sorry for the long rambling post, and sorry if I disgusted or upset anyone, it wasn't my intention. I really like the game this far and I think you could make some really fantastic parasite themed content just using the current systems without adding tons of new art. I really hope you revisit this theme in some future update and hope you continue putting out great work ^_^
I would frankly just be happy with a few more smaller parasites being added in similar to the ones we have now without any huge system additions, the game is plenty fun as it is now anyways!
(Also btw I don't consider chastity belt eels parasites: they dissapear when the belt breaks :( not very parasite like in my opinion)

I've no plans to stop working on it until it's finished, and that's a long way off. At that point I'll consider and decide if I want to expand the scope and work on it further.

ReplyDeleteYou need to be mid orgasm when interrupted to get caught. It always takes 20 turns.
DeleteAwareness increases whenever you enter a sexual encounter. Humans will only raise it so far before their effect becomes small though.
I am having trouble with purity not dropping? After losing virginity purity will lock at 3/4 full bar. Never got angel transformation by keeping purity below max.

DeleteI'm finding it very hard to drop Trauma in 0.1.20.2. I feel it used to go down a lot faster before. I have my Trauma traits under control most of the time, Stress is usually completely empty or reasonably low, I am Robin's Protector, but my trauma bar hovers at almost full. Feels like the -Trauma options don't decrease Trauma as much as they used to?

There's no way to remove Stockholm syndrome currently, but that doesn't mean you have to stay. You can leave straight away. If you convince Eden to let you go first, there'll be one less thing hunting you on the trip.
DeleteMaybe this is just personal taste, but there should be optional endings eventually, maybe one where you and Robin escape rape city and a start a happier life somewhere else, or the PC commits suicide, or the PC buys a gun and goes on a massive rampage before getting cornered by the police and killing themselves also, while robocop.mp3 plays.

Would an expanded character creator be a better alternative to a cheat menu? Also, a way to skip tutorial encounter to keep 100% innocence or for people who want the PC's first encounter to be something different would be neat.

A better character creator would be like a cheat menu with an immersive coat of paint on it. I think it would suit the game better and make it feel more like a RPG than being able to edit your character whenever you want with cheats would. If people want to skip the gameplay then fuck em, with all the balance changes that have been made the grind is no longer a problem and cheats would hurt the game in the long run.
DeleteSo, I decided to start a new game on Soft Mode, and I'm absolutely loving it. It's such a nice, relaxed play experience and it makes the game a lot more exciting for someone like me. That being said, I think you should consider locking the 'rape fame' stat to 0 on soft mode, since as far as I know all the events and scene variations that trigger from high rape fame are way too harsh/dark to fit with the general tone of Soft Mode.
ReplyDeleteAs for general game suggestions, I really feel you should add high lewdness responses to minor events like getting touched or ogled in school or the whole 'dropping your book on the floor' event. It feels weird that even really lewd characters can't find some enjoyment in such situations or turn them around to 'take control' of them. Like, seriously, if a highly exhibitionistic character finds someone giving them lewd glances, it would make much more sense for them to flash the onlooker a smile and some skin than it does for them to be disturbed by the experience.
Also, I've decided to try to do a non-submissive run this time (since soft mode lets you do a sex-positive playthrough without maxing out your submission), but I've quickly found that I miss the extra dimension that the 'moan' action adds to sex scenes. Perhaps you could add a "dirty talk" skill that high "resistance" characters could use? You could give the dialogue lines a more goading/teasing tone than the "moan" dialogue lines. As for the effect of the skill, I think it would make sense for it to greatly increase the arousal of the other party at the cost of also increasing their irritation. Does that seem reasonable?
I'm glad to hear you like it. There's some kinks to work out. I completely overlooked fame; you're right that the rape component should be suspended. As for those events, adding lewd responses is on the todo list. There's a fair few of them though.

* You should be able to put on a specific outfit at any point you use a wardrobe, not just when waking up.

The school skills decay as they represent your understanding of the current material, and are a reason to attend school even after you've maxed your grades. The traits you get for doing so are very powerful.

That said, I think the school skill decay in particular could be handled better.

DeleteI know a cheat menu would be less of an hassle to implement, but perhaps instead of cheats or on top of cheats, in the future, you could choose a character "start" during Character creation to further tailor the game to the player's desire/roleplay.
ReplyDeleteJust like picking your fetishes, it would be a box to check and would change how/where the game begins, you'd be able to pick the vanilla start of course, but depending on the kind of game the players want, you'd be able to pick starts like:
>Street Rat - which starts you off with high levels of skullduggery and a stash of money hidden in your room at the orphanage so players don't have to worry about money issues with Bailey - basically easy modo.
>Slut - which starts you off without virginity, low purity, the meek trait, some fame, high levels of promiscuity and seduction as well as some skill with every body part, so you can start getting money from prostitution and succeeding those seduction checks immediately - for players to get straight to slutting it up.
>Stripper - which starts the PC off with high levels in dancing and Exhibitionism as well as an I.D to get into the club without having to buy one from the brothel.
>Eden's Prey - where the game begins with the PC freshly captured by Eden in the forest - for those players that want their innawoods stockholm fix without jumping through a few hoops first.
>Wild Child - Where the game begins with the PC in the Wolf cave as part of the pack - no clothes or money, some degree of deviancy and physique, max exhibitionism and dumb as a bag of bricks. If transformations are enabled then the PC begins as a wolf boy/girl.
Things to look into in the future, if it interests you, as I expect some of these might break some stuff if implemented haphazardly, especially those last two.

Yes! You can become Robin's night time bed buddy after building a relationship with them and eventually start dating.

I get a Chasity belt/shield and play the game carefully and even then I had to save scum sometimes; it takes a good 50 days of not loosing your virginity. It gives you a 'Forgive' combat skill; which removes all the built up trauma on the fight so far. It's a neat/weird skill I never really used. Fallen Angel gives a huge drop of Purity daily and is a fast track to Succubus transformation.
Yup! Lichen, Mushrooms and Phallus all have different bonuses if you win. One endears you with the teachers, one endears you with the students and the other gives a boost in fame. Either way you have the options to Flirt/Sabotage the competition and if you win, 500$ and a trophy.
Avery is only in one event for now and will hopefully have more content later.

DeleteAngel gives Forgive as said, which I found quite underwhelming, Fallen Angel gives nothing much except purity decay, but it builds towards Demon/Succubus which gives you an amazing special ability; getting semen in you reduces trauma, getting slime in (or on?) you reduces stress.
Fame seems to be really...broken at the moment it is stupidly hard to get fame built up to the levels to unlock the Headmistress/master blackmail events. Even with the 100 fame or so you get for winning the science fair using the phallus project! Like; 4000 fame is a tall order and by the time that you get it that high you are likely at the end game and don't really care about being blackmailed if you miss a day of pictures.

It should be like; 1/10th of that or even less. Maybe instead you can behave lewdly during penis/vagina inspection day and that peaks the Head's interest. Or maybe even doing the car wash punishment a few times would be enough for Leighton to start taking interest in you.

Deletewould you plan to change the school system? i belive there are countries that have a monthly exchange 3 weeks at home giving opurtunities to focus on homeworks, set projects, or getting a job. ofcorse there are alot more projects given into this free time and you are expected to learn the subjects at the same time when next 3 weeks of school come. this would however change the school you have here dramaticaly, its just an idea. but you could reduce the 3 weeks of free time to 1 week and have 2 or 3 weeks of school, and having some sort of public study to not fall out of the school subjects this would give time to catch up with friends or people/animals you have stockholm syndrome with. its just an idea but i would like to hear your oppinions on this please.
